SCHEDULE: This project was completed over one month ahead of schedule due to the firm’s tenacity and effort in scheduling meetings, obtaining required information ahead of time, and by being prepared for site visits and performing them in close coordination with engineering to ensure information is gathered quickly and efficiently, saving time. The firm’s efforts gave the VA team more than enough time to thoroughly review the documents and still get the project completed ahead of schedule. The firm used innovative techniques to allow for collaboration with the FMS staff, streamlining the teams efforts to complete the project quickly. Completing the study early will allow the design and subsequent construction project to be completed sooner than anticipated especially when considering that most designs and studies require time extensions.
